Black male suspect captured on video smashing a vehicle window and taking a laptop computer.

Mail Theft/Forgery

Victim placed mail in mail box and later discovered one check was cashed for $4,500.00.

Vehicle Burglary

Witness observed an Asian male 40 years old near the Victim's vehicle just prior to the theft. The suspect was driving a small red pickup truck. The window was smashed between 2:20 PM and 3:40 PM and a purse was removed.

SUSPECTS ARRESTED BY TORRANCE PD. Victim discovered that sometime during the night her vehicle was entered and laptop taken. 2 adults and 2 teenagers were arrested by Torrance PD who contacted the Victim to confirm the theft. Numerous items recovered

SUSPECTS ARRESTED BY TORRANCE PD. Victim discovered that sometime during the night the vehicle was entered and a GPS unit and DVD player were taken. 2 adults and 2 teenagers were arrested by Torrance PD. Numerous items recovered

Burglary

1400 Block of Ardmore Av

Vehicle Burglary/Robbery

SUSPECT IN CUSTODY. The Victim returned to his vehicle finding the suspect inside. The suspect went to his vehicle and tried to leave. The Victim reached in side trying to keep the vehicle from leaving. The suspect drove off dragging the victim. The victim fell off the vehicle and sustained minor injuries. Numerous items were taken from the vehicle. A witness obtained the license plate and the suspect was arrested by Hermosa Beach Police detectives the next day.

       

 

REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE/VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

 

The St. Patrick's Parade is on March 15th from 11 AM to 1PM. The parade route starts at Pier and Valley and goes West on Pier to Hermosa and then South to 9th St.

 

Volunteers are needed from 9AM to approximately 1:30 PM to assist with traffic control along the parade route. Volunteers will get a green St. Patrick's Day staff t-shirt for their efforts.

 

Volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age and can stand at a location for several hours. If you can help, call the Community Resources Department at (310) 318-0280.
