(Robbery) The victim was walking northbound on the east side of the streettalking on a cell phone when he was accosted by a male Hispanic suspect, who along with another, robbed him of some cash and keys. The first suspect is described as between 18 and 21 years old, 5'9" to 5'11" tall, medium to stocky build. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans and had a slight accent. The second suspect is described as between 18 and 20 years old, 5'9" to 6' tall, medium to stocky build. He wore a white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown boots. Note: Approximately 20 minutes prior to this robbery, the Police Department received a call of suspicious circumstances involving two suspects matching the descriptions of the robbery suspects in the area of Ardmore and 13th.  An investigation by officers regarding the suspicious circumstances led to potential leads for detectives to follow in an effort to solve the robbery. The report of these suspicious circumstances by a concerned resident served to exemplify the significant impact that we, as a community, have in the efforts of fighting crime.

Also, in a separate incident, officers responded to another suspicious circumstances call that led to the arrest of suspects that were involved in recent vehicle burglaries. Another example of being the eyes and the ears the police need.

Thank you and stay safe.
