HBNW is monitoring city through Amateur Radio

Status:

HBFD did a windshield report of city.  No damage to report.

HBPD is reporting no damage.

HB Amateur Radio opened the Emergency Net and most operators checked in.  Should another Earthquake of equal magnitude or greater occur, the team will organize and be dispatched appropriately.  While residents struggled to make phone calls to friends and family, Amateur Radio club had open lines of communication in their network.  To inquire about HBARA, please call Ken Hartley as there is a FREE class in August to learn Amateur Radio and we would love to have you!

Block Captains, please check on your elderly and home bound seniors.
