484 PC (Theft) There was a Blue GT mountain bike taken from the garage area. It was woman's Avalanche mountain bike. No one was seen or heard. The occurred between 6-2 and today.

 

 

6-8-12                   12:08AM                  200 block of Hermosa Ave

487 PC (Theft) The victim left their cell phone outside of their business. The cell phone was unattended and subsequently two female suspects to it and fled the area. The area was checked however the check met with negative results.

 

 

6-8-12                   2:43AM                    Manhattan Ave and 8th St

211 PC (Robbery) There was a report of a Robbery in the area. The victim was standing near 8th St and Manhattan Ave when he was approached by a MBA suspect. The suspect grabs the victims cell phone and a struggle ensues. The suspect knocks the victim to the ground and gains possession of the cell phone. The victims friend responded to assist and is intercepted by a second suspect who was driving a car. The second victim is struck by the vehicle and tumbles over the hood of the vehicle and lands on feet. The suspects flee N/B Manhattan Ave in the vehicle.

 

 

6-8-12 6:25PM                                       900 block of 1st St

459 PC (Residential Burglary) Unknown suspect(s) broke into a residence in the area. Suspect(s) entered a locked sliding glass door and took her personal items out of drawers and laid them on her bed. Nothing was missing at the time of the report. The victim will recall after complete inventory of residence.

Activity for the Week of June 3rd to June 9th

The fire response was an automatic aid structure fire in Manhattan Beach, which was confined to the object of origin. The two hazardous condition incidents occurred in Hermosa Beach and involved residential natural gas leaks

 

"Emergency Medical/Rescue" definitions:

  • Abdominal: Patients with non-traumatic abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, etc.
  • Behavioral: Patients overdoses on legal and/or illegal drugs, intoxicated, and/or suffering from psychosis.
  • Cardiac: Heart attacks, chest pain.
  • Environmental: Heat and cold-related emergencies, allergic reactions.
  • General Illness: Flu-related symptoms or non-specific illness complaints.
  • Neurological: Seizure, stroke, decrease level of consciousness.
  • Respiratory: Trouble breathing from various causes.
  • Trauma/Injury: Non-medical emergency. Physical injury to the body.
  • No Complaint: Dispatched to an incident, but subject had no medical complaints.
