 487 PC (Theft) There were two bikes stolen between 9p.m. to09a.m.   No one was seen or heard.

 

2-14-12                      5:09PM                           300 block of PCH

10851 VC (stolen vehicle) Ford F150 stolen between 2/6/12 at 8p.m. and time of this call.  No suspect information. No one was seen or heard.

 

2-7-12             9:37PM                                     Palm and Pier  

484 PC (Theft of recyclables) There was a subject seen taking recyclables in the area. The area was checked and was UTL/GOA.  (Unable to Locate, Gone on Arrival)

484 PC (Theft) The victim had property taken from his vehicle several months ago which he did not report.  After LAPD arrested two subjects in possession of his check stubs he was asked to file a report.

459 PC (Vehicle Burglary) The victim's vehicle was broken into overnight. Unknown suspect(s) ransacked his unlocked vehicle. Nothing was taken. NOTE: Lock your vehicles.

 

2-16-12              5:10PM                                    715 Pier Ave

476 PC (Forgery) Two subjects tried to pass fake $100 bills at Vons and CVS. Two were arrested for 459PC and 476PC.  The driver was cited for 14601 VC (driving on suspended/revolked license), and a passenger was in possession of narcotics and other in possession of paraphernalia.  

 

2-18-12                      10:23AM                           300 block of Hermosa Ave

594 PC (Vandalism) This vandalism occurred overnight.  Unknown suspect(s) keyed the victim's car. Several other cars were vandalized in the area. Note: Please call the Police if you see any suspicious activity in or around vehicle. Vehicles either were keyed or had shattered windows. These crimes appeared random. 

 

2-18-12                  2:02PM                            Hillcrest and 21st St

459PC (Vehicle Burglary) Unknown suspect(s) entered the victims unlocked vehicle and took items. A GPS unit, a Bluetooth, and a wallet with ID and other misc. items were taken. NOTE: Again, lock your doors.

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet, credit cards, bowling balls, Bluetooth and a camera. Charges were made on the credit cards.

(Theft from Vehicle) The victim parked his unlocked vehicle in the driveway and returned to discover unknown suspect(s) had stolen several items that had been on the seats including check books, a laptop computer and a briefcase.

(Burglary from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger window of the vehicle that was parked in the driveway and stole a purse containing a leather card holder, credit card, and driver's license.

(Burglary from Vehicle) The victim parked the locked vehicle in the driveway and returned to discover the front passenger window had been smashed by unknown suspect(s). A purse containing cash, credit cards, debit card and checks was missing.

 

 

 

 

2/14/12 - 2/15/12   8:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

2400 block of N Poinsettia Av 

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and stole a wallet from underneath the front driver's seat and an iPod from the center console.

 

 

 

2/9/12        8:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.             

1200 block of 21st St 

 

 

(Attempted Auto Theft) A male subject was observed by a neighbor inside the victim's vehicle. Once the victim was notified she discovered the fuse box cover inside the car had been removed and it's believed the male subject may have been attempting to steal the vehicle.

 

 

 

 

 2/2/12 - 2/7/12     4:30 p.m. - 8:15 a.m.              100 block of S. Dianthus St

 (Residential Burglary) The victim secured the residence upon leaving and returned to discover a back door was slightly ajar and the window on the door was shattered. Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole a gaming console and one game. Nothing else in the residence appeared to be disturbed.

1200 block of Bryant Pl 

 

 

(Theft from Auto) Unknown suspect(s) stole the rear passenger side tire from the vehicle that was parked in the driveway. A jack was left underneath the vehicle.

 

 

 

 

2/12/12                        6:15 a.m.

700 block of 31st St

(Stolen Vehicle) The victim heard the sound of a car hood close. He went outside and discovered his vehicle was stolen from the driveway of his residence. No suspect(s) were seen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

News Flash

 

 

At approximately 7:33 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, officers were dispatched to a call involving a male subject who just kicked a vehicle car door, causing major damage. Officers located the subject, who appeared to be intoxicated, in the 500 block of MBB and he was identified by the victim. He was taken into custody and booked  as charged.
