484 PC (Theft of recyclables) there was a report of a subject going through the recyclables in the area. The subject was located and contacted. They were advised on the violation and left the area.

 

2-7-12        1:56AM            300 block of PCH

10851 VC (stolen vehicle) Ford F150 stolen between 2/6/12 at 2000 hours and time of this call.  No suspect information. No one was seen or heard.

 

2-7-12          9:37PM           1100 block of Aviation

484 PC (Theft) There was a purse taken from the location. The purse was left on a chair and when the owner returned it was gone. NOTE: don't leave your purse unattended, there are a lot of opportunist out there.

 

2-9-12            8:09 AM          800 block of Cypress

459 PC (Garage burglary) This crime occurred overnight. The suspect entered the victims unlocked garage and took items from the victims vehicle. No signs of forced entry to the vehicle. No one was seen or heard.

 

2-9-12           12:56PM     2600 block of Manhattan Ave

487 PC (Theft) During a super bowl party at the victims house, unknown suspect(s) took about $5,700 worth of electronics and computer equipment. The victim had 30+ people over and did not know everyone there. It is unknown who took the items as no one was seen. All items were taken from his bedroom.

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole a cell phone from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway. The cell phone had been in the center console.

8:15 p.m.

900 block of 11th St

 

(Attempted Residential Burglary) The victim was in another room in the residence when he heard a tapping sound coming from the living room in the back of the house, followed by banging and the sound of glass shattering. The victim investigated and saw that one of the window panes on the rear door was smashed and the silhouette of a subject was outside near the door. The victim yelled and the subject fled out of sight.

(Stolen Vehicle) The victim parked and locked the vehicle on the street and returned to discover the vehicle was gone. No subjects were seen or heard and there was no evidence at the scene.

3500 block of Elm Av

 

(Garage Burglary) The victims were moving several items from the garage into their home and left the garage door open. Unknown suspect(s) stole a mountain bike from the garage.

8 p.m. - 8 a.m.                       

200 block of Moonstone St

 

 

(Garage Burglary) Unknown suspect(s) entered an attached garage through a closed but unlocked garage door. Suspect(s) took a bag of pots and pans from the garage, and keys, glasses, a prescription and cash from an unlocked vehicle.
