An unknown party stole a navigation system and miscellaneous papers from a locked vehicle.

An unknown party stole an IPhone from an unlocked vehicle.

An unknown party stole an IPad and portable DVD player from an unsecured vehicle.

Identification Theft

90 Block of Pier Ave.

An unknown suspect used credit card information to make purchases in Montebello and Los Angeles.

An unknown party entered the victim's residence through an unsecured door, and stole $500 cash and a $300 pair of sunglasses.

An unknown party stole two unsecured lawn chairs from the front of the residence.

An unknown suspect stole the victim's 2007 BMW 328i.

An unknown party ransacked the victim's unlocked vehicle before taking a computer case.

An unknown party stole an Apple laptop computer and gift cards from an unsecured vehicle.

An unknown party stole the victim's locked bicycle.

Vehicle Theft

400 Block of 2nd Street

An unknown suspect stole the victim's 2002 Honda Accord. The incident was related to the vehicle theft that occurred on 12-23-11, but due to a communication error between the two victims, the theft was reported to the Police Department two days later.

An unknown party stole an unsecured bicycle.

An unknown party stole the victim's unattended purse.

Grand Theft

100 Block of Herondo Street

A known suspect, who was supposed to paint the interior of the victim's residence, stole Christmas gifts and $4,000 cash from the residence.

1600 block of 6th St

(Theft from Residence) Unknown suspect(s) stole prescription medicine from the residence during an open house. The medications were kept in a drawer and cabinet.

 

 

 

12/16/11 - 12/17/11     6 p.m. - 9:30 a.m.

500 block of 24th St

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole items from the unlocked vehicle that was parked in front of the residence. Items taken included an iPod from the front passenger seat, registration and owner's manual from the glove compartment and a jacket and jumper cables from the trunk.

 

 

12/16/11 - 12/17/11     9 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

2500 block of Vista Dr

(Stolen Vehicle) The victim parked his vehicle on the west side of Grand View School and when he returned his car was gone. No suspects were seen or heard.

 

 

12/18/11            7:20 a.m. - 7:25 a.m.

400 block of 8th St

(Stolen Bicycle) An unknown suspect entered the victim's front yard and stole an unlocked bicycle.

 

 

12/16/11 - 12/17/11     5 p.m. - 10 a.m.

300 block of 11th St

(Stolen Bicycle) Unknown suspect stole an unsecured bicycle from the victim's fenced-in front yard and left behind a different bicycle.

 

 

12/2/11 - 12/3/11        7 p.m. - 1 p.m.

700 block of 35th St

(Theft from Vehicle) The victim parked the vehicle in the driveway and was unsure if it was locked. Unknown suspect(s) stole several items including an iPod, a camera, and a GPS.
