A suspect entered the business through an unlocked door, brandished a knife, and demanded money from the victim. The suspect fled the location without obtaining any money.

The suspect used counterfeit currency to buy merchandise.

500 Block of Pier Ave.

An unknown party entered an unsecured building. The party stole several personal items, including the victim's vehicle keys. The suspect then stole the victim's vehicle. The suspect was later arrested in San Bernardino County.

An unknown party smashed a window to enter the victim's residence. A laptop computer was taken during the burglary.

The victim said they were "bumped" by an unknown person who somehow stole the victim's cell phone.

Two subjects were arguing at the location, when one of them suddenly retrieved a knife, which was used to stab the other party's face. The suspect was arrested.

The occupants of the residence heard noises from the first floor of the location. When they went downstairs, they confronted a female Asian adult who was accompanied by a small child. The suspect then fled the location with the child. There was no property loss.

An unknown party broke a vehicle window. There appeared to be no indication of a theft.

(Attempted Vehicle Burglary) Unknown suspect(s) attempted to break into the victim's parked vehicle that was parked in front of the residence, by punching the driver's side door lock. No entry was made into the

vehicle.  

 

            

11/22/11 - 11/23/11     4 p.m. - 9:30 a.m.      

1700 block of 2nd St

(Construction Burglary) The victim secured the property which is under construction with a chain and padlock. When the victim returned he discovered unknown suspect(s) had cut the chain, forced open two tool boxes and stole a variety of tools along with two compressors.

 

  

11/25/11 - 11/26/11     Noon - 7:15 a.m.       

500 block of N. Dianthus

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole radios and an iPod from the victim's unlocked vehicle that was parked behind a locked gate.

 

  

11/26/11 - 11/27/11     6 p.m. - 9:30 a.m.      

500 block of 36th St

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole a cell phone and a wallet containing a credit card from the center console of the unlocked vehicle. Suspect(s) used the victim's credit card at several locations in the South Bay.

200 block of Seaview St

(Theft from Vehicle) The victim parked the unlocked vehicle inside the attached garage. The garage door was left open briefly while the victim unloaded groceries. Unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet from on top of the center console.
