An unknown party stole a $2,000 bike from an open garage.

Unknown party siphoned approximately one half of a tank of gasoline.

Unknown Trouble

600 Block of 21st Street

The initial information indicated several "gang bangers" had assaulted a male victim.  The victim said he was trying to buy a bicycle from three subjects, who then forcibly stole the victim's wallet. It was later determined the "victim" was actually trying to sell marijuana to the "gang bangers." The three subjects were later released from custody.

Attempted Fraud

1100 Block of 10th Street

An unknown party called the victim stating they were an attorney. The caller stated his firm would sue the victim if they did not repay a loan. The victim said they did not have any outstanding loans, and did not know the caller.

Grand Theft

400 Block of 8th Street.

The victim left their computer in plain view on the front seat of their unlocked vehicle. When the victim returned to their vehicle they discovered the computer was stolen. This crime was classified as a grand theft, because the vehicle was not secured, and the loss was in excess of $950.  Also, can't stress this point enough...please,  remove any valuables from plain sight.

200 Block of 2nd Street.

The victim stated their wedding ring was stolen from their residence. The victim believed a maid stole the jewelry.

An unknown party threw a bottle into a window, causing the window to break.

100 Block of 24th Street.

An unknown party used the victim's account information to create fictitious checks.

Subject Detention

700 Block of Pier Avenue.

A parolee was discovered sleeping in their vehicle. The vehicle was parked on a private business lot. A Field Identification card was completed to document the detention.

The victim reported the theft of two unsecured bicycles.

The victim reported the theft of an unsecured bicycle.

500 Block of Pier Avenue.

The victim stated they were assaulted by a parking lot attendant.

Traffic Stop

500 Block of Pier Avenue.

An officer detained a motorist for an infraction. The motorist had an arrest warrant issued for them. During a search, twenty ecstasy tablets were found on the subject, who was arrested.

Unknown subject(s) "keyed" ten vehicles.

Three subjects entered the store and stole alcoholic beverages.

1100 block of 23rd St

(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole money and credit cards from the glove compartment of an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway.  

 

11/14/11 - 11/15/116:30 p.m. - 7 a.m.

1400 block of 21st St

(Theft from Vehicle) The victim parked the unlocked vehicle in the driveway and returned to discover unknown suspect(s) had taken cash from the glove box. A watch was missing from the cup holder of another vehicle that was also parked in the driveway. That vehicle may have been left unlocked also.

 

11/5/11 - 11/10/119 a.m. - 8 p.m.

3300 block of Bayview Dr

(Stolen Bicycle) Unknown suspect(s) stole an unsecured bicycle from a garage that was left open and unattended on occasion.
